Tabitha Timm is an artist with an interest in a wide range of photographic techniques, including lumen printing, cyanotype, and silver gelatin printing. Her camera-less work typically explores the relationship between the physical object and the two-dimensional interpretation, often with a focus on photography and sculpture as mixed media while her lens-based work often deals with the idea that, when actively engaging in the world, the line between real and unreal is blurred and can make us question what is truly surreal. |
Her work has been shown in multiple exhibitions and magazines, including Float Photo, Cumulus Photo, the Linda Matney Gallery (Williamsburg, VA), The College of William and Mary (Williamsburg, VA), and Multiple Exposures Gallery (Alexandria, VA). She is currently based in Tallahassee, Florida, but was born in Northern Virginia. |
